Known for its award-winning pizzas, handmade from double fermented dough, Yard Sale Pizza opens its fifth and biggest site, a two-floor space on Hackney Road close to Hoxton station. The fifth branch of the popular pizza place, it offers a lunchtime-only calzone menu, exclusive to Hackney Road. The four calzone choices are a vegan friendly option with b lack beans, mozzarella, smashed avo and pink onions (hot sauce optional), the veggie one with spinach ricotta, roasted mushroom, mozzarella, pecorino and truffle oil and two meaty pizzas with pepperoni and pork sausage. Their regular pizzas and specials are also available and they'll be doing the collaborations with restaurants (Breddos Tacos and Patty & Bun have featured in the past) they're known for. Their cheese and marmite garlic bread, Happy Endings ice cream sandwiches, local London beers, and wines from Borough Wines are also on the menu. Further Yard Sale Pizzas are at Clapton, Finsbury Park, Leytonstone and Walthamstow and they'll deliver as far as Bethnal Green, Shoreditch, Hoxton and London Fields from this Hackney Road branch.
