Biodanza

Be prepared to hug, hold hands and gaze lovingly into the eyes of your fellow dancers – this is Biodanza. It's pure dance, without any dancing. It’s not a dance class in any traditional sense. You won’t have to hide at the back messing up the routines. You won’t learn any steps or follow a choreographer. It is simply a room where music is played and you are free to move as you wish while interacting with others.

Created in 1960 in Chile, this South American dance form is a little New-Age. Its objective is to increase self-esteem and improve the way we relate to each other.

The school runs classes for 5 to 7 year olds and 8 to 12 year olds every day after school. There is also an adult’s class, an ante-natal class, a couple’s class and a young person’s class. It is probably best not to go with any preconceptions.
