London Jewish Cultural Centre, Ivy House
The London Jewish Cultural Centre is London's leading provider of Jewish education and culture. Located at Ivy House, the centre's home was previously the home of Prima Ballerina Anna Pavlova who lived at Ivy House from 1912 until her death in 1931. A broad range of courses, events and activities with links to Jewish life and heritage are presented throughout the year, designed to appeal to Jews and non-Jews alike. Politicians, journalists, musicians, artists, commentators and international celebrities regularly take part in events organised by the centre. The annual Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival, with its cast of well known writers and commentators, is organised and hosted by the centre each September.
