While I can normally rely on a Holiday Inn living up to
my expectations of a comfortable, reasonably priced
stay, sadly this last visit did not. My room was cold and
even though I adjusted the temperature while I was
out for the evening it was still cold on my return. Front
desk staff were curt and unhelpful and only when I
requested a room change did they bring an area
heater. It took almost two hours for my room to
become a comfortable temperature but by that time I
was overly tired and only slept fitfully. I was given
2000 loyalty points in the morning as compensation
but think that this is scant recompense. |
